I have a "stack" JVC stereo system (don't know the model #), and it is not detecting cd's to play. I've tried cleaning it out, etc., but still will not play cd's. Any suggestions?

Can you tell me if there is a program I can copy my VHS tapes from my camcorder to my computer? I have a GR-sxm540 and I would like to burn svd copies. What program is compatible with pentium IV and windows XP. Am I asking the right person or should I be asking this message to computer people. Thanks

JVC Model GR-AXM230 has horizontal lines across screen i bought at a yard sale can this be fixed

I bought a new jvc vhs recorder/player just last year and now the picture and sound are getting dirty. So I tried a Maxwell dry type head cleaner now a total of 8 times. The video's improved a bit, but there's still a flutter sound in the left sound track whenever I record something new. It's not there on older tape recordings. Does the left audio recording head need repair or a better cleaner, or something else?

WHEN I TURN MY CAMCORDER ON IT SAYS, REMOVE BATTERY, AND I HAVE DONE THAT. I CHANGED THE SMALL BATTERY, AND I HAVE TAKEN OUT THE BIG BATTERY, AND PUT IT BACK IN AND IT STILL SAYS THE SAME THING.

GR-AXM230U JVC Camcorder...E02 error and replace battery message - Lost all camera funtion. Use: the camera is always on a tripod which sits stationary. It is directly connected to a VCR via RCA which means it never uses a tape. It is also never on battery power... it is constantly connected to AC power via surge protection. Came into work today, turned it on and recieved the Error message. What can I do to fix this? Troubleshooting web pages are disconcerning... the commonality of this problem with the JVC product is extensive with little hope of solution. I hope that you can give advise that is more constructive than these web sites. Thank you - Jennifer
