My jvc camcorder that is four years old,and has been used less than fifteen times,suddenly only turns on for about .5 to 2 seconds (for any function,battery fully charged).It suddenly turned itself off in the middle of a filming,and has not ran since.The thumb switch always seemed like a possible weak link, has it broken down?

I have a JVC GR-DVF31U camcorder. It has a Firewire port. I cannot get any software to recognize it for Video capture directly from the firewire port. Is it possible with this camcorder? If it is what software do I need. I have borrowed and tested other camcorders and the computer recognizes the cameras automatically. Please help...

I hv a Jan 2002JVC camcorder model GR-DVL210EA. Battery pack BN-V408U. I am getting an error msg E 04. " in safe mode " pl remove battry. I tried by removing battery and re installing it, but the error msg doesnot go away and I am unable to use the camcorder. Question : What is the problem and what shd I do ?

How do you set the screen sizes. I have Cable attached to my JVC I'art AV-32F475 TV. The words or Letters are chopped off on the end of the screen. I don't have my User guide.

when i turn on my: JVC AV-27CM3 the 125v1.25a fuse in power supply blows. Could it be due to a faulty capacitor like maybe the: 10uf/160v cap which sits next to the fuse. Could you please help me.

I also have a AV36D503 that was just out of warranty when I turned it off, and now it does not come on anymore. Does JVC build them to break this way? Did they include a clock chip for this purpose? I had it repaird. It did it again. I had it repaired again. Now it has done it again...I am furious! If you have come up with a fixit for this problem, please let me know and I will tell the tv repairman so perhaps third time lucky. Thank-you.

We have a JVC AV-35750 it started making a loud buzzing noise after I installed a $40 dollar dvd player from sams club. It started making the noise after the dvd player quit working a few weeks after we purchased it. The noise keep lasting longer and longer. This went on for about 2 months - then finally will not turn on at all. As soon as you hit power it sounds like it pops on for a moment then shut right off. Please help!
