we bought a jvc camcorder about 2 years ago. we are now having problems with it. it says the lens cap is on and its not, and when trying to record you can hear it but no picture. please help. we have a (gr d90u) jvc camcorder what to do or where to get help in fixing it. thank you, cheryl basallo

I have a GR-D30US digital camcorder which is only about 8 months old. Last week while trying to make a tape I received the following message on the screen "E01 Unit in safeguard mode", Remove and reattach battery". I have tried everything but nothing will clear the message. I cannot eject the tape as well. I was told that it would cost more to repair than I paid for the camera. I would like to at least get my tape out before I destroy the camera. Can you help me?

my jvc video cam model GR-D24EK ,bougth a few month ago ,and it it not wotking at all ,when switched on ,it comes ON but does do any other function ,if i try to eject,it would start ejecting but the processe stop and reverse and it goes it in safeguard mode

I have a JVC GR D30 that starting exhibiting the following problems: During play back you can hear the sound but no video is displayed. This is true for any tape you put in. A few weeks ago a message appeared that the heads needed cleaning. I bought a cleaning tape and ran it through 3 cycles but no good. No I can not tape at all as nothing is displayed in the window when the unit is turned on. Any assitance is very much appreciated. Thanks Gary

Hi, I have a 5yr old TV, JVC AV 25SX1EK. It goes into standby mode but will not switch on. I guess a prob on the front control pb ass'y? When pressing the channel no. to switch on it used to take a few attempts to kick in. It is slowly getting worse each day, now taking many presses to kick in. I guess something is obviously breaking down slowly. I have read many replies to similar questions all over the net and they seem to suggest a capacitor prob c926, c929..... does this sound right? I cannot find these capacitors on my board. Are they numbered differently? Please can you help me before xmas Regards, John

Hello, I have a Jvc 60x, I haven't had it out for awhile. I recorded something, look fine recording but when I replayed it. It is all snowy. I put in another tape and it did the same thing. Please help.... Thank you..Kathy
