Actually my receiver is the RX6008V model, but I'm sure the problem exists for other JVCs. I recently moved into an apartment building and can no longer get a clear and crisp FM signal. (I could where I used to live). All I have is about a 4 foot long wire that just connects to a pin with a round shroud around it. It looks similar to a standard TV CoAxial connecter, but its not. I went to several electronics stores to see what they had for a solution and the only thing I could find was an FM antenna booster type of plastic thing. They all said this would help. But the antenna connecter is a standard TV type of Coaxial connecter. Most other receivers have that connection, but of course JVC doesn't. I went to an electronics store that specializes in connecters, but of course they had nothing that would allow me to connect to one of these antennas. I even went to a JVC dealer and they had nothing to offer. I'm quite surprised JVC doesn't have something we can use when reception is poor. Any ideas would be appreciated. Dandawg

I can't get the cassette (door) to close (pull itself shut automatically) on my JVC GR-D290u DV camcorder. We do not think we closed the outside cover too quickly, before the electronically operated internal cassette holder was completely pulled into place; nor did we drop it, or bump it. I've tried everything (different fully charged batteries, different cassettes, AC adapter, resetting the menu to factory settings, wiggling the ligature gently at various times during the procedure). When I power the camera on, the cassette holder pops up (and a little tune is played), but when I squeeze the holder shut again the camera does not seem to realize the holder is shut, and will not pull it the rest of the way closed (or react in anyway). Everything else seems to be working fine. Please tell me of some over-ride to manually insert the cassette all the way in. I will not spend $100 to fix a camera that I can replace on eBay for $80. jvc ca-hxd7 serial #090g1890 protect came on and it doesnt go away i only had it for 18 months bougth it new i dont want to file a complaint cause it worked flawless until now no more models availble of it

I have a JVC model #:AV48MP55 HDTV and when i turn it on the green led light comes on and i hear the program sound but a picture never comes up; 3-5 seconds later the green led starts to flash and the sound goes off. From that point on I can not turn the power on or off without unplugging the TV.

Dear Stacy, Please advise me on what to do with my model JVC GRD90 Digital Camcorder. The problem reads "Condensation Operation/ Paused". it functions on/off-- but of course never 'on' when I truly need it! Now the camera is rejecting the dv tape since I took it out to check inside to see if in fact there was condensation. help!

I have a JVC compact vhs camcorder. Model #GR-SXM260U, The problem that I've been having is that when I'm recording, all i see is line on the screen. everything else is working great.
