Re[2]: Sony DSC-S40 white LCD screen problem

Jenny Posted Jun 28, 2010, in response to:Bob Allen

Hey, my camera is a Sony, but it's a Cyber Shot. The screen for me isn't just black or just white. It is mostly white, with a black blob in the middle that appears to have some sort of line running across the screen. It's not a rare occurrence for the image to change blob shapes or places, though. For months it was fine because it was less than a quarter of an inch of the screen, but now it's the entire thing. Pictures can still be taken and looked at later, but it's just frustrating. The tapping on the word Sony advice made some lines appear on the screen for about ten seconds than disappear. Any other helpful hints? My warranty ended a month ago. :/
