Home | First message in thread | Previous messageFor a mere $1.59 part C926 1000uf 16V is the culprit for having the TV set not having to turn on. Symptoms are the exact on our JVC AV 32750 from previous posts. Me and the wife was ready to take a trip for a replacement television set shopping spree, but decided wait..... Replace the C926 1000uf 16V with a C926 1000uf 35V from Radio Shack, what the heck I picked up 2. You need a soldering iron and patience. I took photos of the location of the so called 926, email me if need to use them as reference. Our sincere gratitude and thanks to all that posted.

Hi Joey, Could you please send me a copy of your pictures? Thx Hi. I read your comments on how to replace the C926 capacitor. I was wondering if we could get your pictures since we have the same problem. Thanks, Trish Hey Joey, Just wanted to let you know your pictures and tips did the trick. My JVC AV-32750 is working again. I admit it took me two attempts as I must of created some kind of short circut the first time (bad sodering) lots of smoke and popping. But the second round I did a much better job and it works fine. I guess it goes to show if I can do it anyone can. Thanks again Dave Hi, I just ran across your post and it seems that I also have the same problem with my JVC AV-27770. If possible, could I also get the pics of how you have fixed your JVC? Much appreciate it!! Bye, GB P.S. You mentioned of replacing a 16v cap with a 32v cap. Is that right? I am assuming that Radio Shack does not carry 16v? Hello, I saw your comment about your pictures of the c926 replacement process. I was hoping that you might email to me. I have the same problem and I am going to attempt to repair. I am headed off to Radio Shack to get the c926 1000uf 35V Capacitor. Any tips would be welcome. Thanks Dave |
