It worked for me as well. At first I shily tapped using my fingerstips... didn't work. Then I did just as Bob said "Smartly rap with nuckles..." only one was necesary and it is working again! thanks! jP

Wow! Amazing! This is my 3rd Sony digital camera (stupid me!) and will be my last. At least for now it is working & in time for Easter too. Thanks so much for posting this solution ... Really didn't want Easter to go by without photos of the kids!!
