Homelookiing for replacement Mitsumi SR526 power switching board for a Sony SLV-E700 VCR. The SR526 unit controls the power between the Primary and secondary power on a PS328 Power supply. I have a Sony SLV-E700 and it has the same problem. It would not power up after someone unpluged it. I have power in the primary power supply up to the pins 1 2 3 4 on the SR526 switching board after that it is dead. There are no voltage readouts at 6 (13 v) and 9 (6v). Pins 7 and 8 are GND. The board No is: SR526 NE M PF2 Mitsumi Elec.co.,ltd 68-4369c Could you please let me know where I could purchase this board? I am a service engineer living in UK. thanks in advance

replace all electrolitic capatitors on svitch board and problem is solved I just tried this on my dead SLV-E700, & it worked a treat Thanks ! Hello guys, exactly the same problem as you described. After a power cut-off, the video player SONY SLV-E700 was like dead. I took the Power Unit out ( SR522 of Mitsumi), and replaced the two capacitors in the primary (C103 and C204). I saw that also the other two capacitors (C202 and C203) were leaking some kind of liquid. I replaced them also. The result is, that the video-player is working again. Thanks a lot for all the given information. It helps really! Best regards, Pedro Hi, In fact, as said pedro, it is the capacitor C103 that has to be change. And the player is ready for a second life! Good Luck! Rifo Hi, I have a Sony SLV-E850 with exactly the same fault, i.e. dead after uplugging and re-powering. My PSU is a Mitsumi SR826 however. Was wondering which caps to replace here. Are they in the same locations as the SLV-700? Advice would be appreciated! change elko 1uF/100V by a new one. Elko is on the primary of the switching module. I managed to repair my SLV-E800 thanx to you people! Changed the two capacitors on the SR522 board, and my VCR are as good as "new" :) Regards Tommy from Norway My unit died when the mains power went down a few weeks ago. It's been a while since I opened it and made the measurements, so I don't remember the values, but in general it's the same situation as you describe. I haven't had any luck in locating a supplier for a new board though. Dönberg Electronics (www.donberg.ie) has a PSU for a SLV-SE700. I'm not sure if it's the same model, but the price is way to high to consider (I could get a new VCR with similar specs for that amount...). If you happen to find a supplier, I'd appreciate a hint (btw: in case you don't know this site already: www.getmanual.com - offers service manuals/schematics etc. for almost anything). Please send to me the electrical drawing of SR526 (or SR522, or similar). Thank You in advance ! |
