For the people who keep writing to me requesting electrical drawings, I am sorry I do not have the electrical drawings for the Mitsumi SR526 board. However the most common problem with this board is the capacitors fail and stops the board from working. I solved my power problem by changing the following 2 electrolytic capacitors on the board. The numbers are printed on the reverse of the board but I have check out the picture that will hopefully help you find the right capacitors. My recorder operated from a 240v mains supply so your maybe slightly different. C103 -- 1 u F 100v C204 -- 1 u F 50v picture of location of the capacitors can be found here: http://img225.exs.cx/img225/1595/sr256board6dp.jpg Hope this help some people.
