Well, i got this error this morning preparing my camera for recording my daughters orcahstra concert tonight.. and i'm like... NO NOT NOW!!!!! so i get to work, log in and search for the error code .. and find this thread... i followed it ... and go figure... it worked...... WOW..... Thanks.... not i can successfully record my babys first concert... this way in 10 or 15 years .... i can play it back so she can realize what parents go through for ther kids... all smiles...

Hi Cannot believe this worked took camera to Caribbean> it stopped working. Arrive home worked OK for 2 years. Went to Maldives stopped working about to bin camera worked. tried again not working good hard slap now OK

Freak me out...I also just read your repair terms and decided to try it...I removed the battery and gave it a (technical tap)...Low and behold ,I was amazed that this thing now works again after 6 months of cussin and was getting ready to replace it...Thanks a million.

Now I believe. Million thanks. I slapped it on bottom (not kindly) 2x after removing the battery (10 minutes). It's working now. Next time I will put a Hammer on it. I lost my daughter's first party (4 years old). Anyway thanks again !!!

DCR TRV33E: I just fixed the black roller as described, cleaned the rotating heads with alcohol, shaked about 10x - and IT WORKS! Rewinding the Tape to the beginning gives me again the C:31:22, so I always start my recording after aproxx. 1 min of the tape.

Wow! Unbelievable. I have a Sony 560 and it's my backup camera that I totally love and it was hard for me to give it up. So I still use it from time to time and I got this error message on some crucial games that I really needed. I found this website and couldn't believe, but thought I'd give it a try...and praise God it worked. This is awesome.
