I have an SR-VS30 mini DV/SVHS deck. I edit with a P.C. running the Matrox xtreme card. User forums have concluded that this combination is responsible for causing pixelation (random white dots) during capture from the deck with the Matrox card. The resolution to this problem for several of the people was to update the firmware on the deck. Is this feasible and if so, where do I have this done? P.S. I live in GA near Atlanta. I have recently turned on my JVC XV-515 player and found that I have no sound. I have connected the player to my TV via a scart lead and have had no problems up until now. I also tried to get some sound via the audio connections on the back, connected to my sterio, but still with no luck. Any ideas of what to do or what the problem is would be much appreciated. Paul I have a JVC GR-DVM70 U and the knob to operate the camera has snapped off. Is it worth it to repair it? I can place the knob on and switch it to play, record... but I have to keep tape on it so the knob doesn\'t fall off. I am at a loss, at this point I don\'t want to spend very much on repairing it, but it seems like a waste to get rid of it. I bought JVC digital comcorder, model number: DVL320E more than a year ago. It is a PAL system. It worked fine that time but remained unused (under humid climate) for the whole year. Now when I try to use it, the power light glows but rest of the camcorder still remains off. e.g. the LCD remains black. I have tried with and without the battery. I would appreciate any help! Thanks -Neha lost memory on my JVC DVM5 / unit still works but with no features / how can memory be reinstalled? (mini DV NTSC) I own a MX-K5 stereo and the other day it just stopped putting out sound. I\'ve hooked the speakers up to another stereo and they work fine, I\'ve unhooked EVERYTHING even tried another outlet and still nothing. The volume isn\'t turned down, I called the 1-800 number and that\'s what the guy told me, well you probably have it turned down. I was playing the aux through the stereo from the dvd player when it just stopped putting out sound. The display lights still show an active bass and sound but nothing is happening. I\'ve touched every button on the display and on the remote and yet nothing. My nearest "Service center" is in Yuccipa which I dont want to drive there. If you can help I would apprecaite anything you have to offer. Thank you Shawna Frye My daughter\'s JVC stereo suddently stopped playing CDs. What could cause this problem? Can this be fixed or does the entire stereo need to be replaced? Can you give me some suggestions on what to look for and fix, rather than replace the entire stereo? It\'s a great stereo, and it wasn\'t cheap! |
