I have an SR-VS30 mini DV/SVHS deck. I edit with a P.C. running the Matrox xtreme card. User forums have concluded that this combination is responsible for causing pixelation (random white dots) during capture from the deck with the Matrox card. The resolution to this problem for several of the people was to update the firmware on the deck. Is this feasible and if so, where do I have this done? P.S. I live in GA near Atlanta.
