Hello Stacy. I sure could use some help fixing this Condensation error problem. I bought extra batteries for it so I would hate to have to buy another camera. I've had the camera to the JVC authorized service people in Dartmouth, NS, two times to fix the problem. The first time, it worked for a bit and then wen't right back to it's old behavior. The second time I took it the service center was after I had done a little work on it myself. I had purchased a service manual, and a second camera, from which I could swap the motherboard. I did that, and the camera worked, but I found out that you have to do some video programming in order for everything to display properly. I swapped the boards back, and the camera worked for a while. I then found out that JVC had issued a connector workaround to take care of the error problem. Meanwhile the camera is acting up again, So I took the camera to the service center and asked them to do the workaround and swap the motherboard, thinking that perhaps I could beat the problem, by having the connector fixed on the second camera motherboard, thus removing the original motherboard from the equation. Well the service people disappointed me again, because they decided just to do the connector and not swap the motherboard. I live 1 1/2 hours away from the service depot and this is what they tell me when I get there. So I didn't use the camera for a while( maybe a year) and when I decided to do some transfers, I get the same old error. If I knew how to do the video sync/programming on the second motherboard, I'd do it in a second. It's no problem for me as I have worked with electronics all my life. I really should get after the service center, but I'm sure they'll just want more money. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much, Craig Kinsman

Hi Stacy. I have a JVC model CA-MXGC5. Is it possible to fix my stereo system after a power surge? There was a power surge in my area and it ruined my stereo. It works, however, the display screen feature does not work. You have no way of knowing which FM channel it is on or which track you're listening to. Can this be fixed?

    Hello,

I have a JVC GRD340 which turns in "Safeguard mode".
It tells me to remove the tape and put it back.
After doing this the tape will not automatically close, it will only shut when the tape is removed.

Do you have an answer or solution for me.

    looking forward hearing from you

The picture seems to have a horizontal or vertical hold problem, flickering.

    The model is AV-60D501

Please let me know what I can do. I have done some projector service before, electronic control work, etc. This is my personal unit.

    Thanks,
    P. Maley

I have a JVC camcorder model #GR-D250U and it is in Safeguard mode, which keeps asking me to remove and reattach the battery. When I perform that task, it still is unable to record because of the safeguard mode. Can you help me get this mode off?/
    Thank you

I have a JVC 42" teledock lcd tv LT-42P789, When I turn it on it clicks like its going to come on, the blue led comes on, but the screen lights partially and very dim for 2 seconds then goes black. The blue light stays on solid but thats it. My tv is not old, it was built in may of 08'. I have many jvc products and have always been pleased with their quality.
I was just hoping this was something simple you could help with
    Thank you for your time
