Hi, I have a JVC TV model # AV32230 which is less than 3 years old and I am having problems with it right now. There is a black horizontal with mostly all chanels along with a snowy, blurry none colorful sharp picture when watching the tv. However, when I play the DVD movies or video games the piture is sharp and colorful as there is no problem. What can be wrong with it and is it a fix that I my be capable of fixing myself. If not how much will it cost to repair. Your immediate response will be appreciated. Thank you in advance When I playback my jvc Gr moder vhs-c camcorder, there are horizontal fuzzy lines. I have tried tracking but it didn't help. Please advise Model: CamCorder JVC GR-DVL157E Problem: Viewfinder Flat cable broken. Site: Italy - Rome. Comments: Please let me know where to find the spare parts for fixing it. Thanks a lot claudio I am having the same problem as everyone else. I start to record and a message comes up that says E03 safeguard mode romove and reattatch battery. How can I fix this. model # is GR-SXM740. Thank you, Eric Layne I have a JVC AV27950 and the picture would reduce to a horizontal white line across the center of the screen. The picture would return after turning off the set and then back on. This worked for a while. Now, after turning the set on, the screen is black, but if left on a short time the horizontal white line reappears. The sound is fine and it seems to change channels ok. I saw somewhere that the vertical hold might have a bad connection and need soldering. I don't think I'm that brave and even if I were, I don't have a clue as to where to look. I was hoping there would be a component that I would just slide out and replace but don't know where to start. Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance. Jim Ray, Memphis, TN I've own my GR-DVL805U JVC camera since May 12th, 2000 and have not had any problems until this morning (Christmas 2004). What a disappointment I bought this JVC Digital DualCam on a recommendation that it was a good camera. Now because of a defect my wife and I have missed recording a moment in time which one can not recover. I've always used JVC products tapes to record on. But for some reason I too am getting this 'Unit in Safe Mode E04 Detach Battery' error. This is very unacceptable for a product to stop working. I store it inside and the tapes are not stored inside the unit. I use JVC Mini-DV 60/90 ME tapes. our 3 year old 27inch JVC t.v. has gone crazy. It scrolls through the menu options (brightness, contrast, etc.) all by itself and will not stop unless unplugged. None of the controls will work. Any ideas? I Have a two year old GR-AXM230 camcorder that will work for 5 minutes with a fully charged battery. I purchased a new battery and exrernal charger and I am getting the same results. What could be the problem? I have a jvc grd-70u mini dv camcorder, I had used it for several months and it worked great. Then one day i used it and when I was finished I put it in its case, placed it on the shelf, and the next day pulled it out to use it and .......no power up. I have three spare bateries fully charged and none of them work. The Charger does nothing either, no power up, no charging.....dead! I had the charger checked and its output is correct. I have never dropped the unit,it hase never been jared around or been used in a rough environment. So...i went online and started looking up "Grd-70u Repair" and within five minutes had found several forums with dozens and dozens of users with the same problem. One of them said that while his was in warranty he had this problem, took it in , they replaced a fuse and it was fine for another couple of months and it happened again when it was out of warranty. This is concerning to me since I payed good money for a product that i though was manufactured by a reputable company who made quality products, do i need to start looking to a different manufacturer for quality products? This seems to be a wide spread problem with your products, is there anything you can do to help, or should i just go elsewhere? I have a JVC-VHS offline editing system - recorder, playback, editing board and tv monitors that I no longer use. It is in excellent condition, except the playback needs a belt replaced. Is there somewhere I could sell or donate this equipment? I can't bring myself to take it to the dump. |
