Stacy I bought a JVC GR-D271 mini-dv camcorder and according to the manual, I should be able to transfer from tape to PC. I tried different senarios of hooking up as far as computer first, camcorder first and the camera doesn't go to USB mode? Also I am using Windows XP,my old computer has Millenium, but I haven't tried it yet. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You Eric

I posted this back on the main page, and i'm desperate for help so it's here too. Every so often, My AV-27530, while on and watching anything, will suddenly turn all blue, with light blue lines going thru it (like a bad H-Hold) for about 1.5 seconds, and then shut off. the power light will remain on, and then the front panel is next to useless. no button has any action, and my only remedy is temporary, and it is to unplug it and with about 15 seconds. after plugging it back in, it will turn on, but then repeat this any time... sometimes 1 hr later, sometimes 30 seconds. Help? Thank you!

My screen show's safe guard mode E03 Eject and reinsert tape/ I did this many times and it still show's this message. I was not able to tape today a very importand video and I am very angry about that. Please help

I was on vacation tour with globus tours,in the city of Singapore. on June 6 2005 I bought a JVC Digital Video Camera GR-D250.This camera was bought at Far East Electronics,5450 Orchard Road #01-17,Singapore 238882. The saleman Steven failed to inform me that the camera sold to me, would not work in the USA. The signal PAL on camera would not work in the USA that has NTSC playback signal. This renders this camera useless. I paid maximum price of $799.05 Singapore dollars also he sold me a camera attach lens for $414.75 Singapore dollars. I also paid $57.80 G.S.T. Charge. This camera is useless to me if I cannot playback tapes. Unless I get a different camera with right signal or get a reprogramed electronics in camera, I will have to deny payment. I have GRD53 model bought last year in July at Singapore. I used it once only in Nov with satisfaction. Now after a gap of about 7 months, when I wanted to use it, the LCD screen is blank with a hand.... I have made things necessary as per the inbuilt manual, but to no avail. Pl help/ kk

I have a JVC MX-KA3 - - the machine clicks into PROTECT mode and cuts out all sounds - - I've noticed this only happens when the red lines on the audio display meet in the middle. I've tried with and without turbo boost, ditto active bass and tried all three sound modes. It has only recently started to happen. It will turn the sound off for 1-4 seconds and then resume. There is a loud click before the sound turns off.

I have a JVC GR-D93U MiniDV camcorder. I used it for about 2.5 hours today to transfer information to my computer and to video tape my child. Nothing apparent happened to the camcorder in transit. However, when I returned home, the camcorder would not play. I know the battery is charged. I tried the adapter plug in. Nothing provides power. I am unable to eject tape. There is no appparent power to the machine. Do you have any suggestions as to what may have happened or how to fix it? Rachel

I have a camcorder (model: GR-D90, DIGITAL VIDEO CAMERA). First problem is that someone touched something in the camcorder and both the viewfinder and the LCD screeen don't show anything. It shows (REC.) when you are recording, but there is no picture. The last time we used it was few months ago, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't turn on. Also when we tried to charge it, the POWER/CHARGE lamp did not go on. I hope to hear from you soon. Aisha
