I have a JVC GR-D22U model DV mini camera. Whenever I turn the camera on, a message "lens cap off" but the view on the LCD/viewfinder is black. The lcd/viewfinder works when I playback. Also on the screen says "sound 16-bit". Is the lens dirty or is it malfunctioning?

I have a JVC GR-SXM330U. Tapes are jamming in all modes-Play, fwd. etc. Is there a casette tape head cleaner that might take care of the problem ? The tape is wrapping around a capstain(?) with a small rubber tube on it. Any idea of repair cost? thanks, Jan

Just a simple question. We have a JVC combination color TV and DVD player . When using EITHER, we have the annoyance of having to read everything that is being spoken, which blocks out a large part of the screen. There is nothing in the menu system or anywhere else that tells us how to get rid of it. Can you tell us what to do?

JVC GR-D90U camcorder, lens cap warning stays on, even when lens cap is off. Camera will not work. Once in a while it works but then goes back to black screen.

Hi Stacy , We have a jvc gr-ax227e camcorder that shows error message E00 Flashing . THe eject door will not open and no no other operations work. The battery is fully charged. If you get this message we are about to film a retirement party in 30 mins time . If you cannot respond by then we understand ,we are hoping against hope. Thanks, Brian Purcell.

So we have a big screen JVC and last night in the middle of watching TV, it turned off. When we unplugged it and waited a few minutes, plugged it back it- the power light came on, it made a few ticking noises and then the power light went off. Never did we get a picture. This is like a year and a half old. Does anyone else have this problem and what can we do to fix it?

i have a 32" jvc iart tv set. there was a storm today. my tv when plugged in the red led by the power button lites up and then after 15 seconds or so just starts flashing. can't turn it on. any suggestions? thank you, kevin

my jvc tv is locked and I don't have a code to put in to unlock it I don't know what happen.I just disconnected the cable and put it back and once I did that there was a black block on each channel.Now I don't know how to unlocked it.

I just purchasaed q TH-M505 home theater system and when I plug everything together and turn the power on the main unit and begin to play a cd/dvd etc...I cannot get the sub unit to power up (the light does not come on and I can't get any sound) - any thoughts???

i have a jvc model # gr d30u and it wont let me record i have tryed new tapes it just keeps saying e03 in safegaurd mode????? i dont have the booklet anymore so can u please help me asap !!!thanks
