we have a jvc model av35750 that is about 8 years old. the power comes on momentarily then shuts off. this sounds like a common problem so i would like to fix it myself. can you tell me what module or component is not powering up or is causing the unit to shut down? i appreciate your help.

Hi I bought a JVC KD-G300. How do I set the radio scroll? It only allows me to search 89.9, 90.1, 90.3, etc all unequal numbers. how do change it to allow me to search all stations, e.g 96.4

Stacy, I have a JVC GR-DX25EK camcorder. It's worked fine for over a year, but now, when I turn it on, it ONLY shows a black screen with the message 'LENS CAP', even though the lens cap is not on! Looking through this forum, this seems to be a common fault for JVC camcorders(eg most recently July 12th, 13th, 14th, 19th, 23rd, 24th). What is wrong, and can you send me the details of the 'free repair' and/or other fixes mentioned on some previous replies. I'm based in the UK. Many thanks. Terry

Lightning struck the building. My JVC AV 20020 lost the audio but not the nice display. What should I check or replace first? It was connected to my dvd/vhs (also died) with v/a wires for recordings Thank you

I have a JVC Digital Video Camera Model No. GR-DVL20EA and was interested in plugging it into my pc to download and put onto dvd or cd. Any idea or hints on how I should do this. What cords plug into where, etc. Thanks, J9.

I have a 1998 stratus with a KD-S590. The problem is that it only works part of the time. Will be on and fine one day, and then when I get in another it has no power, no light on the on button, then maybe a month later it will work. I took and checked fuses and power into the reciever and is ok. The face plate looses it's memory also when this happens. Any Ideas? thanks, Roger

Stacy, I'm in the military and recieved a used 36" JVC tv from a place called Operation Homefront. When I plugged the tv in, the time came up on the tv. I don't have the original remote and can't figure out how to turn the clock off, it's drivin' me NUTS!! I went into the menu on the front of the tv but it will only allow me to change the time, not turn the clock off. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Model # AV-36985 Thanks, Charlie

Stumbled across your site, hoping you can provide some tech help. I have a JVC RX 8010V receiver hooked up. Was working fine a few days ago until my daughter decided to fix it. Now the only way I get sound coming out of it is having the direct line selected. And this doesn't put out surround sound. Just getting audio out of the front speakers. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you
