Model HD56g886 Heard a fairly loud crack sound then picture went black and no sound. It has power but will not turn on all the way. I do not know what is wrong with the set. (I am going to call repairman tomorrow but do not know who to call)

I have a JVC-D270U it tells me it is in safe guard mode ad gives me code 01 I have removed and replaced battery many times and it still does it I have also used just AC power and it still says the same. Also tape will not eject out. Tape door opens but tape will not come out with battery or AC power.

Hello, Two things. 1. The LCD light no loger works. Any ideas? 2. The cd does not eject. The bottom part of the device only goes "in and out" three time before giving up. Any ideas on how to fix this also? Thanks, Marty
