I just followed the instructions for squezzing the card and it now works fine. Excellent. I tried banging the camera, it sorted it for a short while but the squezzing option I've found to be the best so far. I would strongly recommend that you don't bang the camera as it is a delicate piece of equipment and will cost more to replace than a new memory card. I just followed the instructions for squezzing the card and it now works fine. Excellent. Pain in the neck code kept popping up after I incorrectly ejected camera from computer without proper procedures. After reading reviews, I tapped the camera on my palm a few times, and the thing works fine. Banged the camera into the palm of my hand a couple of times and voila! It worked! Interesting to see a lot of the same problems for these cameras!! I as well have a problem with my Sony Mavica FD87... Each time I insert a disk, new or one I've already used, it flashes "disk protect" and will not allow me to take any pictures. It was random at first, but now it won't take any disks or allow any pictures to be taken. Sony wants me to send it for repair. Any suggestions??? Dear friends i just solve my C:13:01 memory stick error just with a ... hit!! i shaked the camera (sony p73 with a memory stick Sony Pro Duo) and here it works!!!!i hit it with my hand 2 or 3 times when my camera it was closed and then when i open it it was just fine!!! thanks for everything!!! allthought one other memory stick (sandisk 512 mb) still gets the same error C:13:01 . but i am glad to have one stick working! thanks for the advices! regards from GREECE!~!!! i can't recorder no film Read through this thread, tried squeezing the memory stick - which didn't work, almost broke it! However the advice about hitting the camera / knocking it was spot on - had the Error, and tried new memory sticks etc, and then after two sharp blows to the camera on the palm of my hand, working as normal! How's that I have to say Sony truly is a shocker of a manufacturer, I've had no end of hassles, but will see how much longer this will limp on before moving to a different manufacturer. I DID drop the camara and it did work. Now it is reading the memory. I think the problem is NOT the memory. I tried different memories on my camera and all of them had the same 13:01 error. I dropped the camera while sitting on a chair and dropped on a nice carpet. It DID work. Si funcionó para mi. The best thing is to insert the memorystick many times rapidly in-out for a few times about 10 15 20 times. Then it is working again. |
