Hi, i have a son FX1 HDV and bought a Generic battery i think its the size of the NFP970 the fat battery, suddenly one day the screen error "for infolithium only battery"showed up and i couldnt charge it or use it. THE SOLUTION at least on these case and on all other my generic batteries was this, i have to admit i found this out just by coincidence, whe i couldnt use the battery for the camera i tryied to use it to light a lamp then the battery DRAINED OUT AT ONECE when i placed to charge on the camera again IT CHARGED THE BATTERY ALL THE WAY UP OK!!! SO when you get the ERROR just plug a pair of wires to positive and negatives poles on the battery and the other side to a lamp, just for a few secs. The charge it with original charger or the camera itself. DONT OVER CHARGE IT or let it DRAIN OUT or you will get the message again. If that happens just repite the process of drain out with the lamp. I have used this procedure more than fifty times now and has worked everytime. I hope it helps. Best Regards.
