This is un-f-ing believable. I thought this was just some sort of running, escalating joke, especially when I read that someone hit the thing on their leg 100 times. I figured that I was being had, but I was going to ditch the camera anyway, so I figured what the hell. I have a DSC-T70. I turned it off, hit the bottom of the camera on my knee, turned it on, no luck. I figured I was definitely being had. I turned it off, hit the bottom of the camera on my knee even harder the second time, turned it on. Still got the error message, but I was able to zoom in and out, which I wasn't able to do previously. The picture was still blurry, but not as bad. So, I turned it off, hit it two more times, a little harder still, on my knee cap, and turned it on. Error gone! Perfect pictures. I'm so thankful I googled this.
