I have a DCR-TR32E PAL. (Australian)This unit stopped working three years ago with a faulty moisture warning code. This camera has a long work history. I did as you did... turned it off, removed the battery and gave it a smack with the open hand - hard on the bottom of the unit and the damn thing worked immediately. It was like something from a Laurel and Hardy movie. Thanks ... I have my old camera back again. Regards Chris
