Additional to the aforementioned - should anyone else be reading this and have a similar problem, please note that the model of camcorder MUST be mentioned, as the offer does not apply to every model, especially DF versions.
Also choosing to restrict your e-mail address automatically excludes the full info being able to be sent, this for reasons explained above.
This is caused through a manufacturing defect and which a "free"
repair is on offer from JVC, this being conditional to you having
the original packaging or the warranty which was contained therein.
As you have restricted your e-mail address contact the customer services appropriate to your area, as full details on the problem have to be sent
to a "direct" e-mail address as they are lengthy and contain (for convenience) JVC contact web links / phone numbers.
Also note that the special FREE repair offer expires at the end of December 08
