Provided you are the original purchaser of the device and have a receipt to prove it, then contact JVC customer services wherever you are located, as although a "special" free repair offer which had been running about 30 months expired at the end of 2007, I am aware that JVC in many cases will still carry out the repair provided you have the aforementioned receipt.

Will JVC repair the video recorder; I had only used it twice, maybe three times, and it stopped working. It is alot of money $300 or $400 for that; I purchased JVC thinking it was a good name and would last me a lifetime. I am careful with my camara equipment, and this feels like a rip-off.
