I see that the "dew" signal is a common problem with the Panasonic miniDV. What I don't see is how to fix it. Can somebody point me in the right direction. This problem has been recurring, off and on, for several years. It seems to start if I am using the camera in a cold environment and then bring it into a warm room. What makes it go away is a mystery to me. I have tried the hair dryer, sitting it in front of the fireplace or on a warm air register with the tape door open, etc. What seems to work best is just to put it away for a long period of time and at some point I can get it out and use it again. Somehow, that just doesn't seem satisfactory to me! If you could answer directly to my email above I will be more likely to get your answer.
