I have a Sony DSC-H10 model camera, I am getting this E:91:01 and I am not able to locate the reset option, please help me. Doing the reset solved the E:91:01 error. Thanks a lot!!! I had this problem on my Sony and this fix did not work. It made it worse, the camera wouldn't even turn on without pulling the battery out everytime. After trying some other things I finally sent it to repair at Teleplan Camera Repair. They did a good job and customer service was great. At TeleplanCameraRepair.com they offer a free quote online. After drop my camera at water I imediately took out the batery. After 24 hours drying it worked again getting the error E:91:01 and with flash not working. Doing the reset solved all problems. Tansk a lot. Regards. TO SOLVE FLASH ERROR sony cybershot dscw55 ERROR CODE E:91:01 , JUST GO TO SETUP MENU, SELECT THE TOOLBOX ICON 1 AND SELECT """"INITIALIZE"""" CLICK OK, MASTER RESET AND IT GOES BACK TO NORMAL. NOTE: DOWNLOAD & SAVE PICTURES BEFORE MASTER RESET AND KNOW THAT YOU WILL HAVE TO SET UP TIME&DATE This is the most helpful thread. my camera now works fine. thank you guys. the initialize menu works for me. appreciate it. I faced the same issue - dscw55 ERROR CODE E:91:01 I followed the comment "JUST GO TO SETUP MENU, SELECT THE TOOLBOX ICON 1 AND SELECT """"INITIALIZE"""" CLICK OK, MASTER RESET AND IT GOES BACK TO NORMAL" It works for me thanks SONY DSC-W55 Flash error E:91:01 I had the same problem, and i tryed everything, even opening the camera and see if any visible damage on any part (nothing), so when i try initializing again ( menu>setup>option #1), right after the "OK" over reseated date, i went to the Flash Button, and turn it off and at least the annoying flashing error is not there - that means it is software error, because all flash functions work till it detects that has ans error wile charging/loading the flash. Hope it helps. TENFERRE hey guys, if all above fails. whats next step besides throwing in the pool? if its not under warranty how hard is it to get a replacement flash? GUYS, THANKS A LOT. I ALSO GOT THE FLASH ERROR E:91:01 AND WENT ON TO THE TOOLBOX AND SELECTED INITIALIZE AS OK, AND EVERYTHING IS FINE NOW. THIS SIMPLE FIX IS NOT ON THE SONY SITE EVEN. CHEERS |
