We had the same thing happen to us. Our Sony Trinitron Wega was turned off last night and it won't come on today. It just died. We are trying the 4 hour hard reset but my guess is that this will not do much good. We have only had the TV for four years. Needless to say I will never again buy a Sony. Last week we had a Sony DVD player die on us too. The picture has gone out on the TV a few times and we didn't think much of it, obviously it was a forecast of things to come. I really liked the TV but at 200+ lbs. it concerned me. We have it strapped to its stand but if something like that tiped over on a child or pet it would be disaterous. If it doesn't come back on I will be glad to get it out of my house and I will go and get a different brand of tv.
