Hi Simon; My contrast amd brightness are so low at the moment that it's really starting to annoy me. I'm not going to give up though as I believe it could be something I can figure out. I don't believe that it could be the lamps; my understanding over bulbs/lamps etc is that when they go, they go, so I figure it is something else. Sony SA are absolutely useless. The should consider putting an arse-from-elbow department in their customer service section. Best regards Anton
