Hello. I am having trouble with my JVC camcorder which started about a month ago. I bought the camcorder in 2004.It displays lens cap when the lens cap is off and it only records a black screen. I am not sure why but the place i bought it wont do anything for me. I know many other camcorders have been recalled by JVC for the same problems but mine is not listed. Its a GR-D30U. If you could help me and let me know where i can send it and get it fixed or fix it myself it would be great. I live in canada and I am not sure where to send it from here.

Your model "IS" covered and full details sent via DIRECT e-mail including info applicable to Canada, as they also offer the same service as the US but in a super-low profile manner.

Just a small qualification / addition to my posting, that being the offer only applies if you are the original purchaser of a brand new camcorder and NOT a second hand one, no matter from what source you purchased it. (shop or private)
