JVC AV-56WP74

Wade Posted Mar 05, 2007, in response to:Stacy Sample

just changed out the stk392-110 with stk392-150 After Ichanged the stk's the red would jump up and down and the convergance wouldn't stay put. I took the board back out and noticed that only one stk was hot and there are a couple of resitors blown. Do anyone know the values of R862 and R842? Thanks, Wade

I am in the process of working on my AV-48WP30. I replaced the STK's but found that resistor R862 looks as though it's heat damaged. From what I can tell on my model it's a 1.8 ohm. Since my TV is suffering from the same problem as before I replaced the STK's (the green was severly bowed top and bottom) and this resistor's circuit leads off to the green connector on the board I'm hoping this will be the fix. HTH.
