Same problem noticed after 6 years. Its very annoying to see the stand by light flickering all the time, and video going off with green horizontal lines on screen, once a while. I hope Sony ackowledges problem and repairs.

Uh, there's a post on here that tells you how to fix the problem. It works! I fixed my set a few weeks ago and I'm watching the super bowl on it now.
