Home | First message in thread | Previous messageOh man! That seriously worked! At first I was just hitting it really hard against the counter and had no luck. I had brought my camera (DSC-T1) to the beach a few weeks ago and I figured maybe I got sand in it so I opened it up and sprayed canned air into it but to no avail. I didn't know what else to do so I just SLAMMED it on the side of the camera really, really hard against the counter, turned it back on and WHAM! It works just fine now! I'm so happy! Yippie!

Thank you for helping me, too! And don't be put off if you need to whack your camera more times than you think could possibly be healthy. I gave my Sony DSC-T1 (error code E:61:10) a good long beating after reading these messages, but with no luck at all, so I gave up for a week. Then yesterday I tried again and it started working after the first couple of whacks! Perhaps more amazing is the fact that my camera appears none the worse for its ordeal. It is certainly made to withstand some pretty brutal treatment, and it's great to have it back without the huge repair bill Sony wanted to charge me. Result! |
