mine too,i have a technics dv290, same problem h02. tried everything, took it apart cleaned lense,nothing. i then linked up a normal dvd player to mysystem and lo and behold the technics started to work again, typical eh? i have been told its got sommat to do with the white thing, god im so technical, that holds the lazer, they get jammed.so i basically fixed mine by makin it jelous
