I experienced the same "PROTECTOR" error code on my Sony receiver earlier this week.I do not have the owner's manual anymore. I have had the receiver now for about ten years and never experienced this problem. I had one of my son's toddler CD's in the CD player, and I changed the surround sound from dolby to theatre. Ever since I did this, the "PROTECTOR" error comes up after about 15 minutes of playing music. Can anyone help me out with fixing this problem? THANKS, Bob |
