Any suggestions.

I struggled with the same problem with my MVC-CD350 for two days. I bought new Sony disks (was using Mavica disk) then I reset with reset button, then power reset which is turning off the camera, taking out the battery (no disk in cameras) and pressing power button for 30 seconds, then replaced battery (remember fully charged)and initialized disk and yay! was able to take a picture. (I 'lost' 65 pictures taken all over the area of the country where I live so I wasn't very happy with the loss or the continuing error popping up) So that seemed to be what was needed to reset my camera. I'm keeping my fingers crossed as that C:13:01 error seems very common with Mavica cameras, whether they have memory sticks or disks.... Hi Brenda My Mavica is doing exactly what yours is doing to you with the noise. Did you ever get a solution to your problem? Thanks. Jim VanderWoude I got the error 13 01 format message on my Mavica, I tried reformatting the disk and I can take a picture, but then I get a horrible noise and the error message comes again. Has anyone found a solution for this? Help!! This is the second Mavica I have had this happen to!! disk error |
