Panasonic DVX100 (100a even more) is very cool camcorder, but be careful about that 24p. If you shoot anything that moves relatively fast in that mode, it will make you sick of jerky, stroboscopic images on the screen. This camera cheats, it's not real 24p. It's NTSC folks, NTSC, not 24p.

    bogdan- the DVX100 is true 24p - it strobs just like a real film camera does because there are only 24 full frames a second running. Get your facts together. I'd love to have an XL2 with bigger CCDs & 24 progressive (the same as film). I hear it's going to be? Hope so!
