I've been waiting for the XL-2 for a year already..... Canon s*cks. I can't wait anymore. I'll go for the Panasonic DVX. And I think Canon is just siting back there just laughing at us talking about an XL-2 that DOESN'T EXISTS, so let's not mention "XL-2" anymore......

Panasonic DVX100 (100a even more) is very cool camcorder, but be careful about that 24p. If you shoot anything that moves relatively fast in that mode, it will make you sick of jerky, stroboscopic images on the screen. This camera cheats, it's not real 24p. It's NTSC folks, NTSC, not 24p.
