Hi, I have a GR-D72U JVC MiniDV camera. Recently I accidentally dunked the camera bag, with camera inside, underwater briefly. At first, I thought it was okay, as only a little moisture got in, but for the few days after it, it's gone through several different types of disfunction. Currently, I get the "E03 SAFEGUARD MODE/EJECT AND REINSERT TAPE" message. However, I'm unable to take the tape out... I open it and it whirs briefly but then winds down before the mechanism pops out. Is this a problem with the motor? Moisture inside? As far as I know there was no physical damage (ie, smacked against a rock) done whatsoever. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. :)

Hi, I am a service tech for the school board of polk county florida. I have a few jvc model rx-6010vbk amps with same problem. the display reads "overload". I have a schematic but it is inadequate. I also can not get any support from jvc because we are not a sevice center. Is this a problem you are familiar with? Have tried the usual trouble shooting to no avail. hello there! my cam won't go out of safeguard mode. I tried reataching the battery like it says but is says the same. Please help. I have a GR-DVL557E (thats what is says in the bottom)

I have a JVC GR-DVM5. When I try to play, rewind or fastforward a tape, I get an E04 message and the camera freezes. If I reset or turn it off, it looks okay until I try to play again.

I have a JVC 28" color TV, model number AV-F29MX3, that was built in May, 2001. I'm having troublewith the sound. Occasionally, the sound on the TV will go completely out, sometimes, fading back in, sometimes not. If I turn the TV off though, the sound will come right back on. Is anyone else having this problem? What's the fix?

Hi, I have a JVC camcorder which i bought 2 yrs back. Since a long time it is giving me some problems. It is a progressive scan mini DV camcorder. But every now and then a message comes on its LCD to remove and reattach battery, unit in safeguard mode. This is happening very frequently for quite some time now making it very difficult to shoot or play cassettes, also sometimes the message comes as head cleaning required, i have to restart it and try again. Once out of 10 times it works. How to solve this problem ? Please reply soon, Regards, Ashish
