Hello. I just bought a JVC MiniDV model GR-D31U. It seems to work fine, except I cannot get it to function with A/V IN (only out). Is this AV IN/OUT or just OUT? I bought this used. It does not include the remote. I cannot figure out how to do this using the camera itself, or if it is possible. Please help if possible. Thank you.

I have a JVC Digital Video Camera. Model No. GR-D70U Serial No. 068V4029 My problem is the door has gotten stuck or something. I used it one morning and then went to reuse it that evening. When I opened the outside door, the inside cassette holder came out but the door will not lift on it. Just ever now and then it will. It did open once and I put a cassette in and it still records and plays back. The memory card still works. It just seem to be the medal door will not lift up. One side of it seem to be ok but it the side with the red sticker that says press here that wont let lose. Any idea about how it could be fix or will it have to be done by a professional. Ms. Sample, I have a JVC KD-G200,just over a year old and it will not eject my cd.I like Metallica but it is getting old....Normally when I hit the eject button there is a pause while the cd comes out and the radio kicks in.However,now all it does is show the word "eject"on the face and within a second the radio comes on but no cdcomes out.I have turned the power on and off several times and retried this.I also saw a small hole in the bottom left corner with the face off and thought there might be a reset inside.Is ther a reset anywhere or is my unit shoot already?Thank you for any info. I have a JVC model AV-27890 that all of a sudden lost it's vertical deflection . In the space of 1 minute it started shrinking until it's almost a thin horizontal line. The sound is O.K. Does this sound major? The set is almost 8 years old.

Hi I've got a GR-DVL557 dv camcorder (JVC). I took the tape out yesterday and closed the carrier - on lowering back into the camera it suddenly stopped and all power was lost. The battery is new and fully charged , the power adapter is fine and it was working okay up till that point. Any ideas on how to restore power would be welcome! The tape carrier is now half down and half up - is there a way of closing it without power? Thanks Shane

My JVC gr digicam is flashing an EO1 error message and asks me to take off the battery and reattach it. I've done this twenty times, recharged the battery, and the same message continues to flash. Any ideas? The whole system is locked up... can't insert tape, etc. The digicam is only a year old.

I have a new JvC AV-32F476 TV. It has geometric misalignments which I feel I can't live with and the picture has a green cast to it no mater what mode I'm in. I am a retied electonis tech so I would be very compfortable with doing the calibration from the remote control. Can you send me the codes or provide me with the service manual. I have a AV-32FA54 and some times it turns off byitself and all i get is a blinking power light on the front. I have to pull the power wire and then put it back in for it to work. That has happened like 8 times over 3 months. Now it just started to make a large pop noise and get a smell but the TV stays powered on; that has happened twice in one day. I have disconnected power from the TV and will await your advise.

My JVC MX-KA3 shelf system has message "PROTECT" on screen and couldn't play anything. Before that the volume control was very soft. Thank you very much for your help!
