Like many others users... I am getting the lens cap on message when the cap is off and the screen remains black. I can't record. My baby is due tomorrow and i will not be able to use the camera for the birth, which is what it was purchased for. Is there a quick fix? Jeff

Hi, I have a jvc camcorder (Model no.GR-D93AG). Its 2 years old. It was working till last week. Now it is found to be dead. When we charge with AC power or with battery the charging LED is not blinking. I understand from the jvc service centre chennai that i need to change the main board which will cost half of the price for which i brought the camcorder. Is there any other way? I have a JVC projection TV model # nv55bh6. Recently it started having wavy lines go from the top to the bottom like a vertical hold but the picture does not roll, just the lines. I know, I know. It's a 10 year old TV but we are not ready to kick dirt on it just yet. Being a tinkerer I opened it up and noticed that one of the crts is making a humming sound. Could this be the problem? And if so is this something I can fix on my own? I have a short video of the problem on my phone I can send.
