i have a GR-SXM240U I CANNOT DO NOTHING WITH IT ,IT KEEP READING ITS IN SAFE MODE REATTACH THE BATTERY EVERYTIME I DO THAT THE SAME THING COMES UP SAFE MODE WHAT CAN I DO

I have a JVC GR-DVL500U and When I turn it on to record or play, a code appears on the display screen "E04 Remove and reattach battery. Unit in safegaurd mode." I have tried to remove the battery and replace it and I have the head cleaned. Twice I have brought it in for repairs but over time the same thing comes up. Can any one tell me what causes this and how to rectify it.

I have a JVC GR-DVL505. Today, upon replacing the tape, an error message appeared... "E01 unit in safegiard mode" "remove and reattach battery". I removed and reattached the battery several time but have had no luck. There is no mechanical movement occurs. What should I do?
