Assistance for Error Codes

I am knowledgeable and have helped many people past their error codes without service. Several things can cause error codes and I would be more than happy to assist you in determining if you do indeed have a problem and what options you have available.

  I have a Panasonic Stereo that is giving me an error code of U70 and only playing cassettes now. It seems the second part of the system which houses the cd player and tuner has no power. Could this be a fuse that needs to be changed?

  I found this site after googling up my problem with my sony receiver STR-DE825. Someone else has written to say his receiver reads only "protector" across the digital display, but there is no answer visible on your site. I need to fix this problem, I live in Austin. Can you assist?

  We are having a Panasonic A80 Home Theatre. It was working fine. But now if we power on the system it is showing "F61" error message in display and automatically power off. Please help us to resolve the problem.

  We have a UVW-1200 and get the following ERROR CODES:
  
  02-694 after inserting tape and pressing PLAY
  02-594 after inserting tape and pressing FF
  
  What could they indicate and how to remedy? Thanks in advance.

      Jon: I did speak with Sony on the matter and they told me it had to do with the T&R-reels. It turns out that we needed to have the unit serviced/overhauled by a qualified tech. It's never been done over the life of the unit and it now seems to be working fine. Other than that, the cost of repair was about $350 (US). Hope this helps.

  Hello,
  my PD Sony 170 comes up with error code C:31:22 at about 30 minutes into recording onto mini DV or DVcam tape. I've left the tape housing open and given it plenty of time for any condensation to dry out, it's also been sent to a reputable repair company to have the heads, tensioning etc tested but I'm still getting the fault. Any suggestions?

  Hi i have rcently bought a car with a panasonic cd player and changer in it, The radio works fine but i can not play any CD`s as the Display reads CDC E3.
  The model number of the cd changer is DP88.

    That's probably your "PROBLEM" go to the changer... you'll need something really thin..couple inches wide...7-8 long ..raise that top ..poke up/down SEE if a CD is HUNG UP remove it. put another CD into changer see if this helps.when you get the CD out insert another it should WORK or not WORK. If not there is a problem. Is it factory or aftermarket?IT can be repaired but it's expensive...can you take it out??CHECK OUT H AKINS PO Box 3025 chattanooga TN 37404..   I have a Sony TRV27 I am getting error code c:32:30. When it first happened I ejected teh tape but the tape was damaged. Now I can not close the tape unit, it seems jammed. Do you have any suggestions.

  Hi,
  I turned on my camcorder one morning and it made this loud clicking noise and it displayed the error code e61:10. Sony sais it would require repair because it is an internal problem. Do you have any ideas?
