I have solved this!! I have the Funai DRV-B2737 and it stopped recording and giving error messages but I have found one specific type of disc WHICH ALWAYS WORKS!1 The trouble is, theyre a cheap budget brand and I don't think you can get them outside of the UK. They are LIVEWIRE brand which I buy from 'poundworld', that's right, the Pound shop (equvalent to your 99c stores in the US). These always seem to work perfectly with brilliant results - I am not technical so I don't know why. Hi. I have a Hitachi DZ-MV550-A DVD camcorder, using a DVD-RAM disc. Without warning, an error message came up (I think 1100) which gave me the option of re- initializing (and erasing everything) or putting in a new disc. Is there anything I can do to recover the lost 25 minutes of video? Thank you.
