Homejvc flat screen model# vm 42w v74 had the tv in storage and worked great and know won't power on? I have a jvc flat screen tv model # vm 42w v74 42 inches had it in storage for over 6 months pulled it out of storage and won't power on. I look in back of the tv and there is a green light that comes on and I push the power button and nothing, don't know why. Please help Thanks

Probably failure of the power supply. Sounds like the sweep circuit has failed. Is this a Plasma or LCD? If it's a plasma then the high voltage supply probably has failed. Not cheap and most all the flat screens you can not buy component level parts. You end up having to do a board exchange and ouch that hurts... Richard |
