I just had this. I removed the memory stick from the camera and inserted it into a card reader. My PC was able to read it fine. I then copied the pictures off the card and into a temp folder on my PC. I properly ejected the memory stick volume from my PC (right click the disk that is the memory reader in click EJECT) and then physically pulled the memory stick out of the card reader. I then put it back into the camera and it works fine. Very odd.
