Home | Previous messageIf you haven't altered anything concerned with the remote then that side of things should be the same as before, that is provided it was actually working before and that it is an "original" one and not an aftermarket version, as aftermarket types are only useful for simple operations like changing channels or volume adjustments etc and nothing more complex.

Further testing I attempted to get response from tv by switching off the front panel. Now unable to use any buttons on front panel remote is still unresponsive. Possible bad memory IC-703? As I read the service manual IC-703 appears to be a EEPROM possible memory lost? Thanks for your response. The remote appears to be the original to the set. Is there a possibility of the set loosing data for responding to the remote? |
