HomeT.V. response from remote control. Hi, I just replaced the dredded ICs 804 & 805. In the JVC instruction manual adjustments to convergence are handled thru the remote. So far only the SELECT amd EXIT buttons appear to have any affect. Do I need a replacement remote or is there a procedure to initialize the remote to the T.V.? Thanks in advance any help appreciated.

If you haven't altered anything concerned with the remote then that side of things should be the same as before, that is provided it was actually working before and that it is an "original" one and not an aftermarket version, as aftermarket types are only useful for simple operations like changing channels or volume adjustments etc and nothing more complex. |
