HomeBang it on the table won't work, maybe just for photo camera's? I've got a Sony DCR-TVR16E and I hadn't used it for some years. I tried it again and make some beautiful movies, but I got the E:61:00 error. I tried the banging theory, I also tried opening it up and wiggling. Nothing seems to work. Does this bang-theory only work for cybershots or what does someone with a camcorder have to do?

No! this unorthodox fix is not just confined to still camera's although success really just depends on the luck of jolting the mechanics the correct way, however overdoing the banging can have the reverse effect as all it needs is to thump the base of the camcorder onto something like the palm of your hand or a clenched fist, not another solid object! |
