Re: JVC service or questions

Hi, how are you doing.

I have a 47 inch JvC i'art, rear projection tv. For the past few month, every time i turn it on, the picture keeps jumping up and down and won't stay still. It works for about 20 seconds then starts to jump up and down and doesn't stop.

i have had a service technician come to my place and take a look and he did some testing and told me that the tv needs 2 circuit boards, one on the front and one on the back. The cost is about 400$.

Do you think it's worth it for me to fix this tv for that much money...or should i just buy a new TV.

Fixing it would probably save me about 1000$ in comparison to buying a new one. I guess my only concerin is, how long will the fix last if I decide to get my JVC repaired...any thoughts...thanks in advance, Rob
