Re: JVC av 36890

Although they can very slightly, they are always usually horizontally positioned and appear similar to looking at the top end of a fine writer felt tip pen, but a little thinner, and if you look carefully you will see a small recessed slot on the end to enable it to be be turned. Many sets have two adjusters one above the other, but if you shine a torch directly onto them you will see "focus" embossed on the background plastic next to the one you want, the other might say "screen" don't touch that one. Everything mentioned is the view seen directly when the back of the cabinet is removed, as adjustments are normally always done from that position and not anywhere over the chassis. A pointer of to where to look is to just follow the red EHT lead from the tube downwards, don't touch anywhere near it though! as its the rear part just about parallel with the back of the chassis that you want. I will have a check and see if I can get a sketch, although the site doesnt allow attachments to be added.
